In 2003, in addition to growing its core business of asset-based marketing and trading, NFM entered into the mid-stream sector of the natural gas industry, adopting a strategy of hard asset acquisition and development of gas gathering, processing or storage systems.

To date, NFM Midstream’s primary focus has been in Texas, in and around our current Palo Pinto County Santo gathering system.  NFM Midstream’s main efforts include optimization of the Santo system operations and development of the system’s value by working to add gas flows through a variety of options.  In addition, NFM Midstream is interested in and open to evaluating other projects outside of the Palo Pinto area as opportunities arise.
